C'est la viePublic sector employees are striking in France. Why? Why not?
"We are saying no to privatization in public service," said Thierry Victoire-Feron, a postal worker who earns only $1,200 a month after 20 years on the job. "As civil servants we will no longer have jobs for life. We have to keep our tradition of strikes. It's a French thing to do."That is, when they're not trashing McDonalds or appeasing dictators.
